2.4-liter crankwalk?
I'm about to purchase a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Spyder with a 2.4 liter engine. I've read a lot about crankwalk, but it seems to be a problem of 2.0 liter engines. Do I have to be concerned about crankwalk with the 1998 2.4 liter engine? Thanks for helping this newby out. (Well, I'm not entirely a newby; my late wife had a Plymouth Champ, a Cordia, a Starion ESiR, and finally a Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo.)

This is what the seller says it has (in addition to 70K miles):
Greddy SP2 exhaust ($609) + stock Eclipse GSX exhaust
Aftermarket cold air intake + A'PEXi air filter ($156) + A'PEXi adapter ($???)
AEM aluminum camshaft gear ($240)
MSD Digital DIS-2 Ignition box ($379)
Pace Setter headers + down pipe - carb legal ($150)

crankwalk can happen on ANY engine but the liklihood is almost 0% 7 bolt 4g63's are really the only ones who need to even thinkk about it.
