2.4 spyder hb, cw, or just bearings?
Alright so I hear alot about the crankwalk. And inalso hear alot of people who think they suffer from it actually don't. When my car idled, I noticed my harmonic balancer was moving left to right a bit. (crank was "walking"). I had to try driving 1300KM so I took the risk, and it made it. Shifting did get a little bit harder. And it had idle surge issues plus belt squealing issues. Now I went to cold start it and bring it to my indoor storage and worry about it in a few weeks when I made more money. But the belt came off. I Turnt it off right away, amd didn't start it again. The crank pulley(hb) is slanted down a little bit, the belt is un-harmed but off. I don't want to say for sure crankwalk without ruling out every single possibility. Here's why
1) stock clutch
2) 4g64 2.4l non turbo
3) completely stock not even a custom intake
4) made it 1300 km at least without anything happening
5) I really hope it's not crankwalk aha
What else may it be of not cw.
Bearings broke?
Crank snapped?
Harmonic balancer (crank pulley) broke
Anything else it can be?
