Default 20G turbo

Guys, as most of you know, I am or should I say was going to purchase a 16G turbo. But, one of my friends said he knows that he can get me a 20G turbo for a cheaper price. I know we have talked so much about the supporting mods for the 16G turbo. But what about the 20G. Can I use the same supporting mods for that turbo? Or are there more mods?

16G is good for 400WHP deoending on trim the 20G is for higher than that. If you want more than 400 then go for it but if your only FWD after 300 you be haveing alot of traction issues

Thanks Emonz, you always come to my rescue.

But hey. My friend can get me the 20G turbo cheaper than what I was going to pay for the 16G. Do you think I should go for it? i agree with losing traction after 300 hp. What do you think I should do?

20g is barely bigger than some of these newer 16g trims they have now, it makes more power on pump but not much more on race gas. you could run 14psi on it before you need fuel upgrades. all other supporting mods are the same as 16g setups

Hey DSMTalonAWD51. Hey man. You havent been online for awhile. Are you still selling your 16G turbo? I thought you just changed your mind about it or something. I was planning on buying your turbo, but I havent heard from you. Are you still selling it? Did you take it out yet? I would also like to buy your fuel pump.

Oh, and for the 20G turbo, all I need is:
1. 190 Fuel pump
2. Change fuel filter
3. Catback exhaust
4. intake
5. boost gauge
6. BOV

Is this it? I am also looking at 660's injectors.

you can get away on stock injectors at 14ish psi, anymore an u need them with fuel management (safc etc), which means u need to do a lot of reading up on tuning, or pay someone to tune for u. id also include a bigger ic on that list. as for the turbo, the day it came off i had someone local who bought like 5 things off me, so its gone sorry, i updated my post in the for sale section for what is left.

Hey guys. Thanks for the info and help. But what would you guys do, if you can get a 20G turbo cheaper than the 16G turbo, would you buy the 16G or 20G?
