Default 250Hp 420a

Im just curious as to what it'd take to get a 420a to about 250-300HP but prolly more around the 250 mark?? maybe even 225??? I dont want something that im gonna take to the track and race but I do want something with a little kick. Something I dont have to be ashamed of at a red light but at least keeps up. Theres a new honda accord in town that has some mods to body but not sure how much on motor, but im guessing its the usuall mods...stuff that everybody does. He is sponsered by a local graphic business in town and I would just love to give him a run for his money. I've never raced him b4 but im sure he'd kick my a$$.

to get ur 420a to about 225hp you'd need a turbo kit, new injectors, fuel pump, fpr, boost gauge, a/f gauge (preferably a wideband) and tuning. with this setup you could run probalby apx 250-275whp. with wideband, tuning, some kind of management, and rebuild bottom end you could run close to 300-325 (i'm planning on runnin close to 350-375 on mine)

.... 250whp from 10psi, no.

ORIGINAL: Hahnracecraft.com
When you are ready to step up, Hahn RaceCraft Turbosystems can be easily upgraded for higher power levels. The Stage I to Stage II upgrade contains all you need to add an intercooler system and increase boost pressure for a power gain of 50 HP!
so the 420a makes 140hp at the crank stock, so thats 190hp to the crank if you get the whole 50hp power increase... thats like 160-170 to the wheels maybe. For 250 to the wheels your going to need something like 15psi-ish and some extra go mods.... basically if you dont have round 7g's to spend, then no. If you do your looking at a built short block, worked head minus cams, bolt on's(udp, throttle body, plugs, ect.), mbc, portfuler system or safc 2 with a msd/crane ingition box, after market bov, full exaust, and a better clutch.
