well because you didnt mention any internal work at all which means 10psi max on that engine, which means no 250hp

x2 and you didnt say anything about a bigger wastegate or mbc. Also at that high it would be wise to use some sort of after market ingition control module.

this is if you buy all brand new parts from major companies... if you piece everything together you can get ur car up there with somwhere around 3500
I consider hahn a major company... the hahn stage two kit with a smic is 3,000 dollars alone (howell automotive). So if you can get injectors, a wide band, fpr(which the hahn kit comes with), fuel pump(which the hahn kit comes with), boost gauge, some kind of managment, a shot block build(which you inferered to be included in the price in the post below theengineer), and some dyno tuning for 500 dollars let me know.

Soo lets say you go with the stage two kit for 3g's. Howell sells a bottom end rebuild kit for 1000 dollars... but lets say that you build the motor your self so you dont have any labor included in the price. Lets give everything else a low ball/ebay/used/fell off the back of a truck price... wideband 200, injectors 50, fpr 100, boost gauge 20, managment... safc? 200, and no dyno tune. That alone is 570, i can promess you wont find anything that cheap unless its some once in a life time deal. So thats bout 4500 assuming you get just the bear minimum. If you were to do it right you would want a hahn port fuler(1500), clutch/flywheel(600?), mbc(50), bov (150), wideband (200), egt gauge(150), msd/crane box (500) plus the bottom end kit would leave you at 3100 dollars. Thats if you dont get the block serviced(you would be stupid not to if you were dumping all of this money in your car), building the motor (not for beginners), and installing it in the car(again not for beginners), and installing the clutch your self. That also dosent include shipping or tax.

Right and like i said if you D O N T go with brand new parts from a majory company, you can get it done for that cheap, piecing together a turbo kit from misc providers and 2nd hand people, you can get it done for close to 1000-1500, after that ur lookin at wideband, ignition, fuel, and clutch. get it tuned and like i said you're lookin at around 3500, it's not exacty by any means but it's a round about price. so far i've spent 1100 to get my bottom end forged and ready for boost, this is going through companies with brand new parts, i have found a pretty good tubo kit for 1800, so i need a wideband that i'm getting for 180, MSD i have found somebody trying to get rid of an entire package for about 350, friend of mine w/ 425 injectors, and after i get my Greddy E-Manage and tuned i'll have spent about 4300, yes it's higher than the 3500 i mentioned but i also bought EVERYTHING needed for an entire bottom end rebuild including the ARP head and main studs, heavy duty head gasket, new rod and main bearings, urethane motor mounts that i didn't have to get, also bought a new timing belt, water pump and oil pump. those you don't have to change but i'm just wanting to do everything right. i'm not arguing that if you do it up big, with the best people with the best products that it won't cost you close to 7k, i'm just saying that it is possible to get a turbo on ur car and run it close to 250hp for the budget of close to 3500.

Hey, I have the 420A and it can handle alot. But you will more then likely never see a six second 420A. I would be willing to put money on it.
