does the valve cover come right off after the bolts?Do i need any gaskets or seals if i wanna change the valve cover?i want a powder coated one.please help

 

On the 4g63, I believe there are 8 bolts holding the cover down.
When you replace it with a powder coated one, its not a bad idea to change the gasket.
Its like $20 at O'reillys. That includes the gasket and the spark plug seals.
You have to reuse the bolt seals though, which aint sh*t.

As for powdercoating, i'm gonna recomend the guy that did mine at www.trgcoating.com
they charge $120.
You pick the color, they do the work and send you the cover, then you send them back your old cover as a core and the guy refunds you $60.
Its really high quality work
