Default 30 Vaccum???

Hey guys. I got a quick question. I was driving my car all day today and I decided to go out tonight. When i got in my car my boost gauge was reading 30 Vac? It usually reads 25. Is that weird. Is there something wrong with that? It usually reads 25 Vac in gear and would idle at 20 Vac. But now, it reads 30 Vac in gear and idles at 25 Vac. Is that right?

But last night was the first time. It has never done that before and I have had this boost gauge for about 2 months now. I would cruise at 25 before.

Well my vacuum reading never goes below 20 when idle or coast. Now does that sound normal.

Yes it does... coasting will always be MUCH lower than normal idle
