4-1 vs 4-2-1 headers

RE: 4-1 vs 4-2-1 headers
The difference is exactly how they are named. One of them goes from four directly to one to the downpipe while the other goes from 4 then combines to 2 then goes to 1. As far as hp gains. I really dont see you getting more than 5hp from it

thanks te, that was a lot easier of an explanation of what i had... but as far as the two different headers, im assuming you have either an rs or gs... you wont notice a difference in power. there's not enough power coming out of the 420a to be able to notice a difference

The compression ratio on a 420a is 9.8:1. And people please keep the flaming to a minimum on this question .
You cant just raise and lower compression. I think you need to do alittle more research before you start modding more and try and learn about cars first. The compression has to do with the volume in the cylinders. The only way to get higher compression is to upgrade the pistons. Now the thing is say you wanted to turbo the car. Well the stock engine with the CR it has can only handle about 10psi. Now going with a higher compression actually is bad for a turbo. You cant a lower compression if you are gonna go turbocharging. Going higher is for staying NA.

i already know about the no turbo with higher cr and i know about thevolume in the the cylinder cause i've already built a hybrid honda but i know those are easy to do.i just wanted to find out what my options were for raising the compression. i was told i could use some turbo pistons and that would work.
