agree on both notes. I bet it will change. technoligy has gone so far since20 years ago with the 4g63 was born. I do think the 4g63 is prob pretty easily one of the best I4 motors ever built. IMO it can rank up with the 2JZ GTE motor. to have the ability to hold 500+ HP on the Evo version stock bottom end that is extreme for a I4. just the same as the 2J can take 900HP of abuse on the stock bottom

i know how can you hate it when it hasnt even really been tested yet. Its probably gonna be awesome. Especially with the full alloy engine

 

Its not that I hate it really... I just dont like how its replaced the 4g63t. To me, Mitsu sports (Rallye) cars and 4g63t go together like... like beer and pretzels... or beer and peanuts... or beer and just about anything for that matter lol.

 

Originally i was the same way... but then i saw the tech video on YouTube posted by manybrews... and i realized the engineering that went into it. Believe me, its a step in the right direction. It now has a chain instead of a belt, it has MIVEC and its not at all like VTAAAAAAAK. Its a lot more complicated. Seriously it looks built reeeally well.

 

Where DID u get that video many?? Nice. That does look a lot more intelligently designed than the 4g63... almost like an updated version of it. I gotta say that did shed a lot of light on that motor. hey guys, i'm new to the forum, i drive an rs and want to swap out the motor... i know the new 4b11 sounds pretty cool, i think im gonna swap that into it...
