Default 6/7 ie downpipe and exhaust?

Does anyone know if the exhaust is the same on a 2g if I have done a 6 bolt swap? (ie downpipe and catback), or when I swap them will I need to get a new exhaust?

The down pipes are the same from what i have seen. The big difference is in the way the drive train is set up between the two gens.

that depends on if its FWD or AWD prob.

I think it is the same since your not changing the car your changing the motor which is the same as before

Ya but he is keeping a 2G with his old 2G cat back he wants to know if now it wont fit because of the motor. So in that case yes it will fit. He isnt taking 1G exhaust and asking if it will fit his 2G now I dont think???

EMonz is right. Keeping my GReddy EVO2 cat back. But the downpipe would change correct?

Thats the thinking, the chassy for the 1g and 2g are clearly different, your just going to have to do some mig welding or some pepboys slip fitting work. Either way lots of fun.
