95 eclipse GST Turbo

i found a 95 eclipse GST (Stock Turbo) For sale down the street i want to buy....but when you get to about 5000RPMsthe engineboogs out alil....help me with this....if any one knows what it could be

soundsl ike it need so plugs and wires or maybe has a boost leak

1500 sounds like it may be a good price. But its hard to say. To me it sounds like this car you may want to steer clear of just because for that price your probably buying a POS.
