Default 95 Eclipse Power Sunroof Help

A friend of mine has a 95 with a power sunroof.. if we try to open it.. it only get about 20% before it just starts clicking... now if we push on the glass we can get past that... when it will go a little further.. and then start clicking.. if we push again we can (using our own force and running the motor) get it to open all the way.. the same with closing it.. it will close part way.. then start to click when we'll have to press on it.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any ideas or suggestions?

Mine did the same eventually the motor went out and it had stripped the teeth to open the sunroof. You can find a new motor on ebay for about 25 bucks. You have to drop the headliner to get it out.

I think thats in the switch. My switch started to foul up a little. Make sure when you open it that the track is clear and that there is no debrie or leaves in it. Be easy with it or youll do the same thing I did and strip it. If you need to replace the motorits the same as an Dodge Avenger.
