hello all i ijust bought a sweet 95 gs 5 speed and was woundering if anyone has ever done any towing with there eclipse i would be hauling my banshee around total weight with trailer is less then 900lbs.the car is bone stock as of now any input would be great ty

 

youll have fun trying to get up hill lol. The car barly has enough power to move itself an extra 1000lbs might be a bit sluggish

 

And teh brakes couldn't handles it either.

 

Not to mention it would look ridiculous

 

if you do tow soemthing u gotta put a pic up. but i dont think you are gonna get to far. ive got a wrangler 4cyl and i tryed to tow a lawn mover and a mini bobcat. i got down the block and called my little bro, to tell him i need his truck, the wrangler souldnt pull it, i dont think a gs will pull anything but it would b funny to see

 

I think with a small trailer and lighter items like furnature and garbage or something you can do. Because we use my fathers old integra to tow a trailer with stuff in it and it doesnt have much of a problem and that car doesnt have any more HP than a 420a

what would you hook the hitch up to? and 4 cyl jeeps are pu$$ies, my friends brother used to have one and it was slow as *****, i would think a gs could pull more than that haha

you would have to buy an assmebly and have it mouted under the rear of the car also for the hitch
