this clicking though is pretty loud, you can def. hear it pretty distinctly from outside the car at idle. and while driving in every rpm range, goes faster the higher rpms.

These are known for that to happen, Hows the oil pressure? Hows the oil?
Talononly does it on a really cold startup after sitting for a month, but its been rebuild recently.
My GSX they tap untill i rev it to 7000 a couple times then they shut up finally.
If the oil is old changing it usually shuts them up again, if you let it go that long in the first place your a tard.

actually i changed it to 10w40 bout 1000 miles ago. the guy said to use synthetic 10w30 but i under the impression thicker weight for high mileage.

so i started hearing it tick. so i said you know what its been about 1500miles i should change it to synthetic.

so last night i got it changed to mobil 1 fully synthetic 10w30 like advised. and now the ticking is extremely loud. and will not go away even if i put it to 8000rpm. haha never but you get the point. it wont go away with the car on. im wondering if i should put the 10w40-50in it or just leave it ticking all of the time. or clean my lifters.

probably harmless but if the clicking drives you nuts you can always replace them with 3g lifters, no more clicking
