Default 96 Spyder Power Window Issues

I have a 1996 Eclipse Spyder which has been having some trouble with the power windows. It was nice out, so I thought I'd pop the top and let the inside dry out a bit ((It has a lovely leaking problem)), and all the windows except my driver side window will not go up. They went down with the top, but none of the buttons to control the windows will work. The driver window will go up and down all day, no problem, but any of the others are stuck down. But when I put the top down they moved down, no problem. The passenger side controls and the driver's side controls will not work, only for the driver window.

We checked the fuse and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, and took the panel off of the passenger side door to check for anything abnormal, and didn't see anything.

I'm not really sure where to start looking to fix this problem. I don't have a garage and I live near Chicago, so it's not going to be this nice out for very long. I think that the moisture in my car could have messed something up, but the driver's side window is completely fine. Any help would really be appreciated!

There's a button on the drivers side switch panel to disable the passenger side window. Flip the switch, and try again.

Then come back and tell me how awesome I am.

Haven't gotten to try it yet ((late and way too dark out)) but will in the morning, we're just wondering what would cause the switch to flip?

Your elbow...

It takes very little pressure. I've done the exact same thing. I literally took the door apart, and checked every connection in the window system on the passenger side. Then one day I was driving, and accidentally pressed it while trying to roll down my window. Talk about feeling stupid.

You sir, are indeed awesome. Only thing was that the wires to the lock were loosely connected so we plugged them ALL in really well and now everything works great! I feel so silly, but I guess that's the joy of having a car.

Glad it was an easy fix after all.

Its things like this that make you feel stupid that you sit around joking with your car buddies about in a few months like when my voltage was going crazy and thought I had a major electrical problem....and sure enough I had an electrical problem, but it was stemming from my positive terminal coming loose from the battery post. Thanks to Autozone that day for helping me to feel stupid.
