Default 97-99 spyder

Hey there kinda new to this forum and just need some advice am thinking about getting a 97-99 eclipse spyder i origanally wanted a gsx but i dont want to empty my wallet every time i got to the pump buying 93 oct at 3.65 a galso I thought i might get a P-wagon kinda. and get a spyder i just want a bit more kick to it. Maybe get 200 pony's out of it using bolt ons and ecu chips as well a/f ecu. How possible is that and what would be if any an alternative.

you wont get that much out of it with bolt ons. Your best bet would be just get a spyder gst.

i doubt he wants a GST when he said he doesnt want to have to get 93 octane. Check out this site
http://4g64.150m.com/

it has good info on the 4g64 spyder and what you can do to modify it

He wont get 200hp with bolt-ons though. If he wants that he will more than likely have to go turbo. Of course i could be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time lol .

I have a 98 GST Spyder... You dont need to run 93 octane in it. Ive ran 91, and even 89 at times and never heard a knock.. But thats with stock boost.. I only run 93 in my grey one.. But im running a higher boost in that.

it depends where you live, and trust me I wont lie to you about whats wrong with it there are a few minor things but its black so the sides (back fenders) can be painted. Im $1000 more away from getting it painted.
