The right side skirt on my eclipse has a 3-5 inch crack in the middle. Can i just patch her up and how?

 

Would be cheaper and easier to find the same color car and change it.

 

i'd love to just do that, but the previous owner painted it a metallic purple. it looks good but i dont have any idea how to match the paint.

 

then how are you going to paint it after you match it?

 

From your sig, it appears there is no way to match it, because it looks to be a custom paint job.

So, you have a few options.

1) Live with it

2) Bondo it, and do the best you can with the paint match (expensive)

3) Get all stock bodyparts, and paint it a normal color (probably not as expensive)

 

the best way to do it for the least amount of money is just fix it and get the whole car repainted a different color, that way you dont have to match, and you also wont have to buy new body pieces

 

u cant body fill plastic. u have to use 141 or 142 fuzor. mix it and spread. sand till its smooth n even. if u body fill, the plastic gets to hot n the filler will peel. and or break when hard.

 

he's got a body kit, which i'm assuming is fiberglass... that you can bondo

 

id metal glaze it then.
