Default 97 gst tranny

Hey guys i gotta question.. im looking to buy a 97 gst everthing on the car is mint except the tranny the guyclaims that it had a new clutch and tranny swap 2 months ago but it grinds when shifting into second he said it just needs some syncro tuning..Easy fix or should i just keep looking?

Wellsyncro's arenot an easy fix, trans has to be takin apart and rebuilt. If he's not asking alot I wouldpick it up.

Yup, if he's not asking too much, pick it up.
Syncro tuning? I think he means tranny rebuild, lol. The tranny still needs to be removed and opened up, so you'll still be paying for a rebuild. It would be a waste of money to pay rebuild fees for one syncro, you might as well get a fresh rebuild with double syncros and a taller 5th gear from the Galant VR4 or EVO3 (I forget which).
