Well hello to all i have lots to ask! This is my first Mits and my top has probs. the cross bar that goes frompass side to driver side right over your head has a brace that bows in and out then one day POP the screws "one on each side" pop out! My prob is the bowing in and out of this brace each time the top opens and closes. Well its not doing it now because the screws have stripped out of the bar. tru I could use a tap and die set and put a diff screw but that will not fix the bowing prob please help

 

go to a junk yard and find a top...take that brace out that u need...only thing i can recomend

Yea, really... its broken to hell... what are you gonna do with it? You need a new/used one...

 

you no what if there a stripped i would just get a whole new skelton of the top...and take your old one off...u see what i'm saying

 

well the cross bar is ok its the little 4" support one on each side thatwas bowing the top still works great its just not attached any more?
