Im looking at buying a new car at around 12k to 13k and I want something fast with relatively low mileage. Ive heard better things about the wrx but I still want that mits. gsx? I would appreciate it if anyone with knowledge on either of these cars could help share some pros and cons and give me some good facts to help me make a decision. THanks.

 

well a gsx over 10k is alittle overpriced IMO. But to me i would rather have the wrx if your gonna spend that kinda money

 

or you could get a gsx for cheaper and spend the rest on mods to make it even faster...

 

I would get a gsx and use the rest of the money for mods, if you want more info on wrx's ask woody he just got one.

 

Honestly guys, a super low mileage GSX would be around that price.

Okay lets take a look at what you would be getting from both cars.

WRX Pros:

Slightly newer (interior is newer, engine components are newer etc...)

Cons:

Weaker engine and transmission
Heavier
Understeers like a boat on ice

GSX Pros:

Better engine and transmission
Handles better
Much bigger aftermarket support
Cheaper (more to spend on mods)

Cons:

Maintanance *****
You skip on maintanance, and you will have zero reliability.
Older

I think that just about covers it

 

save another $2k and you can pick up an Evo
