alright, so tonight someone tried to break into my car and failed and got something stuck in the drivers key hole, and when i went to the passengers side to unlock it, the alarm went off and i had to wait for it to shut off, and then i started to drive away it went off again, so i ended up taking out the horn fuse and driving it home. i know you're suppost to turn it off through the passengers or drives door by turning the key to lock and then to unlock it....since i don't have the remote entry. i'm wondering how much it is for a new lock, i know it's 160 to get my remote from the mitsu dealer and to get it programed to my car. but now i have to get the lock replaced. does anyone have an idea on how much it'll cost and should i do anything in it while they have the door dismantaled, any extra stuff?
