when my car smoked, it smoked a lot!!! so i replaced the turbo b/c it was a POS and it fixed my problem, but its not my car

isnt blow by just air getting passed the rings which would push up the dipstick right??

If the smoke is more like white or maybe light gray you might have the same problem as me, which isnt much of a problem at all. My 98 GST has this smoke right now at idle because one of my O2 sensors is either clogged or broken. New one will be replaced in a week or so. But it is strange if your Check Engine Light is not lighted if it is the O2 sensor. My car is running rich on idle due to this failing sensor and this create some smoke..
