Unhappy 98 spyder too rich

ok i have a 98 gst spyder.
i bought it a few months back from an action,
when i saw it and check under the hood i saw the piping that
goes to the intercooler off. i ought the car took it home on a trailer,
bought all new couplers and clamps from a well known shop.
i thought it was gonna be ready to go, but now when i turn it on
it seems like its runnin to rich and it doesnt rpm over 2000.
it has a lot of aftermarket stuff which im not sure of all of it but here
are some of th things.
16t turbo
bov
boost timer
boost controller
intercooler with piping
apexi air flow
upgraded cams ( i think )
catback exhaust

thats what i can see it might have more stuff but im not sure.
my friend told me it could be the map sensor or the injectors but im not sure.... any help would be appriciated thanks lots

I would recommend taking it to a shop and having them look at the car, it might be something as simple as an o2 sensor, or the vehicle might need a good computer tune, hard tellin.

If the intercooler line was off and you trailered the car home, it could have turbo problems. They may have been working on it. Also, what engine codes do you get? Could be a number of things:

MAF sensor
Crank Angle sensor
turbo could be damaged and unable to spool up
temp sensor
cam position sensor

....the list goes on. Go to a local parts shop like pep boys or advanced and ask them to pull codes for you. Or do it the OG way and turn your key from off to on 3 times and leave it on the fourth time. the check engine light will blink in sets. write the codes down and post them here. Someone will have an answer....

do you have a wideband a/f gauge? You need to see how the SAFC is setup. You might want to try and find someone local that can help you get this car setup correctly.
