hello, i have a 99 Eclipse rs in white. I used some compound on the paint to take off some scratches. I think the name of the compound was NO.1 hard rubbing compound. After i applied the compound i notices that the paint was dull. MY question is do the 99 eclipse have clear coats?? I assume that i can bring back the shinesses with polish if i didn't take off the clear coat lol.

 

when you buff a car there is about 2-3 stages. you only did the first stage which is the cut stage NO.1 cut cleaner now to move on to the polish stage. to polish and get that shine you want use NO.7 Show Car Glaze this will make it glow! now if you want to do the head lights use the Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner to clean it than polish with Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish. hope this helped.

 

I hate how some companies cheap out by not clearing white cars. Not as bad as the integras that don't have clear on the front bumper and the spoiler though with a red car.
