I have a 99 eclipse spyder with the 2.4 automatic. I am unable to locate a replacements transmission for an acceptable price within driving range of me. I can find them out of a 2.4 Galant. From what I have found it is the same and should fit. Can anyone verify this is the case. I don't want to buy something that won't fit.

the car is my daughter's and needs to remain an auto.

i would think look into another eclipse maybe not a spider that's auto too, think about facebook marketplace or places where people would part there cars off
