Hey all,I am kinda dissapointed about the car.I got to the lot and my wife started looking around the car and she found where the RS sticker had been pulled off and a GST sticker was there in place. We talked about the car for awhile and decided to get it anyway. For one it has a whole lot of less miles on it and I liked the fact it was a 5 speed. The car is in better shape than the 99 too.I asked the guy if he knew it was a RS instead of a GST and he said he didn't know about it and told me I didn't have to take it.Did I screw up?

I think you did for one how can you be selling a car at a carlot and not know if its turboed or not? you should of baught the car then sue for fraud. because they where letting the car pass as a gst when infact it was a rs. thats like trying to sell someone a crysler and say its a mitsubishi. wait as a matter of fact it was.

If you traded the car based on mileage you made a mistake. mileage has nothing to do with how a car runs. its wheter or not the car has been mentained propperly. i could have a car with 40k on it but i ran that car everynight it would be more f*** up than someone who drove there car normal and maintained it for 80k.

Part of it was my fault,I looked at the car yesterday and I opened the hood and looked for a turbo but there wasn't one.I did say earlier in the forum that it wasn't a turbo.I didn't know for sure if a GST was turbo or not,I have only owned my 99 RS for a month and I couldn't remember what every model came with.I did do some research last night and saw that a GST came optional with a turbo and a AWD.The milage difference is a helluva plus though I think.
