Default acceleration

i have a 99 GS and was wondering if there were anyways to get the acceleration to go a little faster and get more punch when i take off. since its only a GS is it even possible to make it faster.

not really... sorry man, there are mods but nothing thats worth the money to make a noticeable difference...

Yeah, there really isn't anything to make an N/A more powerful without spending a good bit of money. You can do the common things like a CAI (not a RAM) and an aftermarket exhaust. Just remember that an N/A needs backpressure and too much of it lost can cause negative performance.

so what about like an exhaust kit. maybe a short ram intake or cold air and a new exhaust tip/muffler.

no, he said no ram air... all that'll do is suck hot air into your system... an exhaust tip wont do **** for ya... so if you wanna go all out, get a cold air intake, headers, and a catback exhaust, thats about all you can do

well that sucks. is a GS like the lamest model to have? what kind of brands would you guys recommend for the cold air, headers and exhaust

Yes, the lamest...

You can spend all that cash.... when you can simply get a GST or GSX and be much quicker

well we've gotten over that point, and no, the rs is the lamest model... trust me... but you can get an aem intake and greddy exhaust or apexi

how much do decent ones go for. so i can pretty much make the outside and interier look good but not under the hood.
