the thing is that my neighbor is offering me 5,000 flat for my 1998 rs eclipse ( it was worth 5,500 when we got it) so i love mitsubishi motors so if i add 5,000 to the money i have saved up i wanted to buy a gs-t...and il mod it as much as i can little by little thats why i came to this forum to see what i can do to my car and what would be the best option..i really dont know much about cars but now little by little im learning...so yes ive been looking for a gs-t im taking my time so far nothing good is out there...all they have here in miami is eclipse gt (2000 and on) i like the 1998 1999 ones so yeah =/...but i found one but he is asking almost 9,000 and it has like 75,000 mileage but i have not tested the car im still searching...

I live in Tampa Fl. if you want a fast car or at least one that can be dont buy a 2000+ I have had 2 of them. just keep on waiting for a GSt or GSX to show up they will. I waited months for an EVO and then found mine at a dealer for sale I got it for almost $5000 under book value at the time. the deals will come but you gotta wait and jump on it when you see it other wise you lose it

I paid $5000 under book value total at the time I got the car for $22k the asking price was $26,995 and average price fore them was well over $27k I just got a deal on it.

a golf is lighter than an eclipse the eclipse is 210HP so it might be even stock for stock but the eclipse can be way faster than the Golf. since the aftermarket is huge for DSMs and turbo upgrades are easy

Are you looking at both the hard tops and the convertibles or just one in particular
