What was voltage at idle? I'll have to look it up again because it's been since Januarary-ish since I last fiddled with mine.
I'll try and find some info on the 420a IAC check too. I couldn't find it in my Chilton's either. I'll look in my Avenger one in a sec.

 

Is you car still surging Lycan?

I can't find that info for the IAC Lycan. It's not in my Avenger book either. It just states that it's factory tuned and it should be left alone, lol.

I've got more resources though bro. I'll keep looking.

 

I just want to confirm that, yes, voltage goes down at WOT.

For the MAP..
Disconnect the plug and meaure the harness side. Voltage between 3 and ground with the igntion switch on, should read 4.7-5.2 volts.
Check continuity between 1 and ground and it should have continuity.
If you get anything other than on either one of the checks the MAP sensor is bad.

It only surges when it wants to it has never been consistant. its like it'll run fine for a week then the next it will run like crap. i dont get it. thanks for all your info and help coupe. ill check these in my spare time this coming week.

 

so i was told it is most likely the MAS. can somebody tell me how to get to it so i can try and clean it in a day or two. shes at it again.
