Default air fuel mixture problem

so just threw in a air fuel mixture gauge in my 96 eclipse and I'm only reading lean no matter where the throttle is at. it will move a few bars when i open it up but that's it. no check engine light so i don't think it is a bad o2 sensor but if i unplug the o2 sensor nothing changes and still doesn't throw a CIL and i know i have wired it up right. any ideas????

narrowband a/f guages are junk. its basically pointless to have it in your car. your car is probably running just fine

is it moving back and forth when your at idle. It could be hooked up wrong. But like he said a narrowband is pretty worthless when it comes to getting data from it

The narrow band gauges are not accurate and are considered worthless. But if its hooked up properly and still stuck on lean I would suspect a faulty o2 sensor.
