Default Another Guage Question...

Ok, looking around and I have actually aquired a liking for the dual guage pod. I want to get a Boost guage but what should I get for the second gauge? Oil pressure? Air/fuel?

Also, if when i buy my pod, will i have to paint it to match my car? i assume so but ya never know.

what's a wideband?
It is an A\F gauge and o2 sensor BUT it reads digital in realtime so you can see your exact AFRs and tune the car to a "T" with it. a Norrow band only has the LEDs that sweep around and that is very inaccurate. Widebands are pretty expensive but Let me tell you I have one and I am 100% glad I got it versus a norrow band because I can tune my own car and not pay for a dyno tune. and after every mod the AFRs will change so I can adjust for it rather than needing another dyno tune
here is my wide band...left is boost right is A\F

Now, i'm not planning to tune my car further for a while. not until i upgrade the turbo and such. I like this wideband though. do they come in the 2" models? I'm looking for another guage to put in my dual guage pod.

ARe the wideband's easy to install or should they be done perfessionally? I can do the Boost no problem.

well with every mod you do adding to the tune helps. My car was so much faster after I tuned it. as for installing the wideband you need to have a full exhaust and\or have a bung welded in the downpipe after that it is a breeze. luck for me my exhaust came with 2 extra o2 bungs that were plugged. the only hard part was fishing into the engin bay because the wire is pretty big. I had to fish backward so from out side in and I had to take aprat the clip that clicks into the gauge so what I did was draw out the pin out of the clip what colors went in order from right to left and fished it threw without the clip on because it would be and extra larg whole for that
