You sure its a 4G63?

Well the easiest thing is to simply drop a turbo engine in there... and get a turbo ECU. I recomend doing that. It drops right in

and does it matter tranny wise, my car is standard and i just sold the motor i was gonna swap like a month ago. And goes the search for a newengine, And the second attempt to put a 4g63 into an rs. So for all those who have asked how or what to put in, Ill be able to tell everyone what actually has to be done to get it to fit. I already know the engine compartment is four inches smaller then a gst or gsx so... let the fun begin

Wait a second... you have an RS? You cant put a 4G63 in that. That means that what happend is not crankwalk.

So what exactly happened?

i was jumpin on the highway, the on ramp is a half circle, and as i was goin around the corner they car started to stal but didn't and as soon as the corner leveled out the car died and and the tires locked up. Thankfully i was only doin 20. when i stopped i tried to start it and the starter wouldn't even turn the engine. So towed it home and my mechanic buddy came over and tried this and that and then put it into gear and he tried to break it free but couldn't. He said that the crankshaft seized most likely due to crankwalk . So thats what i assumed

No, crankwalk doesnt happen on the 420a engine (your engine). When was the last time you changed your oil? What are your oil and colant levels?

An engine only ever seizes when it is put under extreme stress and abuse. I have seen engines held at redline without oil (filled with water) and without coolant... and they STILL dont sieze.

I did a tune up when i did the timing belt bout two weeks ago. Antifreeze is full and so is oil. There was no weird sound or smells or any warning. The engine just seized and locked up the tires, which even at 20 is still a FUN experiance and i was in second at like 3000 rpms. Donno i can work on them fix them and what not but diagnosis is not my thing. I know the car was beat on before i got it. i had to put about 1500 into it in the last year to keep it goin so.
