Over the weekend, I became a proud owner of a 1997 Mits Eclipse Sypder GS (non turbo, 2.4 liter). I'm very happy about my purchase!</P>


Question: Are there any companies out there that supply catalogs/parts for mitsubishi? I used to own a Jeep and there were about 4 or 5 companies that would mail me catalogs with Jeep stuff only.. I was wondering if there are any such catalogs unique to Mitsubishi... </P>

DSMtuners.com....they have everything...like a google just for DSMs<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0"> Dont know if they got anything for a 2.4L engine but it could be a good place to start from.</P>

 

Nah there aren't any mitsubishi specific catalogs that I know of but if you need any help with the 2.4L motor there are several people on here including myself who have used it or know a thing or two about it.

somebody needs go create DSMTUNERS magazine.. that would be the s**t! I would def. have a lifetime subscription to that. how come honda gets one but mitsu doesn't? thats some bull right there.<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">

 

hahnracecraft.com is the best place to go the owners love 1 and 2g eclipses they've tried every setup. they specialize in turbo kits for non turbo eclipses.

 

HRC is good, but i don't think they've messed with the 4g64 yet. Magnus motorsports, PowderBlast Co., and I *think* the original DSMStore have 4g64 stuff like pistons and blocks and stuff. Other than them, the engine is basically unsupported from big name manufacturers(Injen, AEM, Unorthodox, etc...). But there is good news, And you can make a *lot* of useable power from the engine for fairly cheap. There'll be a FAQ up Soon about the 2G Spyder 2.4L, as well as the 420A, 4g63, and 3g engines. Also, the 6g72 engine faq will be compiled and put in the 3000GT and Diamante sections. But i'll need some help.....everybody.
