<FONT color=red>I have a white 96 Eclipse RS w/ a blue interior. Since it is almost paid off, I'd like to improve the appearance and performance. Any suggestions on where I should start, referring to performance? As far as appearance, I'd like to add another color to accent the interior(dash board kit), but I can't decide on a color. Ok, I'll make this a little easier. I just bought a set of 17" Vision "Fat Boy" wheels. Would the best tire size be 205/40R17 or is there a better size I should go with?

 

Go with the suggested size from the rim company and get a tire with a wide crown (the tread may be ten inches wide but but if the crown is narrow then you will have less surface on the road.) I just got a set of Sumitummo tires I like them a lot Z rated speed and AA wet traction, cant tell much difference between wet and dry they stick good. About performance, research chips, engine management andturbo kits (hanracecraft.comand AEM.com to start) to get good hp gains the turbo is key. I have never installed a turbo but I have been looking at upgrading my stock one so I have been reading up. Take your time plan it and get lots of info. I got good info by searching for "turbo education" online I ended up on a pro's site that helped me understand some things. Check this out they might be able to help you too.
