Default Any tips for head gasket replacement??

I found out the other day my car is leaking a good amount of oil into the water. I tested for pressure and all but one read out at around 180. Pretty sure I'm in need of a new head gasket.

I've got a 96 420a, any tips or suggestions to make the process easier?

Follow the haynes manual to the tooh. Also double check everything you do, when/if you remove the cams dont scratch the cam retainers becuase that will end the life of them. Also make sure when you tighten the head back down that you do it in a cyclone patter and dont warp the head. If you have the extra cash laying around send it to a shop and get them to check for warp and deck the head if they need to. Lastly mark all vac lines and electrical conectors with something(like stickers, markers, electrical tape) so you know what goes where when you finish.
