AEM an DSMLink. If you got the cash... why the hell not?

SAFC has its limits...

Im not exactly sure on the question here. All three of those things are completely different entities and only one of them is an actualy "wideband". Now The SAFC neo is a piggyback that allows you to tune your fuel system by faking the computer into thinking its getting more air. The AEM wideband as you have called it, is only a A/F gauge. DSM link is a program which allows you to tune the a/f and timing maps on your computer though a chip in the ecu. Please elaborate...

What i am gonna guess is that you meant to say which tuning device and you meant to put AEM EMS and not wideband. If this is the case then the AEM EMS is really good if you have the money because you will have full adjustability. But it does take alot more work to tune it. The DSM link is a really good medium and perfect for the 16g. The SAFC is only good for people that dont have the money for anything else and want to get a tune where they can run a turbo like the 16g without running too lean.

You're still confused. The wideband is a monitor which will be used when tuning with either dsm link or the s-afc. As said, teh s-afc is a piggy back fuel controller, while dsm link is a program used to tune on a lap-top along with the use of teh proper e-prom ecu.

Yes like i said before. AEM UEGO is only an A/F gauge. Thats it. It displays your a/f ratio by using a wideband 02 sensor. It DOES NOT tune anything

It says on AEM that it is also a controller, or is that something else? On the link above at the bottom of the page you can select these

" UEGO Controller "Display" 0-5V AFR, Black Bezel/Black Face"

AEM’s UEGO Display Gauge allows owners of AEM Wideband UEGO Controllers 30-2300 or 30-2301 to monitor Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) in real time without the use of a laptop.
just a gauge.

Yup!!!

So the question becomes... SAFC or DSMLink? Your going to need a wideband either way, so thats a given. DSMLink owns SAFC by a long shot

but it's also for more experienced tuners and a more involved set-up... if you're running a 16g with fairly small injectors the safc will be fine, and cheaper and easier to use by a long shot
