The car i just bought doesnt have a recirculating BOV. Is this bad?

ok, what do i do? you already saw what i have

 

does your intake have some kind of tube on it like this

(BOV dump)

 

it is the stock intake, the guy just put a plug in the bov tube and hose clampped it

here is what my BOV is

Can you even recirculate that BOV?

 

i dont think so

 

you need a new bov then. your car will not run right unless you are re-circulating.

Check with the company that makes that bov...they might make an attachment that will let you recirc.

 

what will go wrong the way it is?

 

It will run rich, sputter, Stall. You wont be able to run1/4-3/4 throttle or the car will sputter and buck ect ect. do a search on BOVs and this subject you will get alot of info, I have went over this a million and one times on here in the past so I now it here
