what would it take to get my 95 automatic gst to roll with my friends 03 wrx w/ uppipe downpipe and hks exhaust?

 

uppipe?? Is that a brand? sorry I've never heard of it before. Is the WRX a manual or auto?

 

Up pipe is part of the exaust.

That thing is proly only pulling 14.2/13.9. The wrx launch is really what gives it its edge, that is if he can drive, Get some nitto 555r's or the new nto1's. That will help you launch and give him less of a head start. All of that exaust work will give him more top end, so get a cayt back exaust, and a stright pipe/gutted gayt. Ditch the stock intake and get a a k&n filter. MBC to raise up the boost. The factory bov cant hold more boost over stock, so your going to need a bov, along with a upper intercooler pipe. Get a greddy rs and recirculate it. Because its auto you could proly get away with a rfl and non recirculate it. That should put you right there with him.

 

Oh... DUH lol I was thinking uppipe was a brand didn't evene think to split it into up pipe... That's what I get for being on here at 4 in the morning... Yeah I think slow's got it pretty well nailed there.
