Default automatic shifter

Just wondering i want to change the shifter on my rs, it's an automatic and i know they sell automatic shifters but is it possible to put it on??? thats the question because the auto shifter looks so big compared to the other shifters so i was wondering before i buy an auto shifter and F*** up trying to install it can it e done or is there a specific shifter i should buy??

I've never seen a different shifter on a auto. I dont think it would be easy to find one to work because of the button on the top that you need to push to shift and the one on the side.

Whats theOD button do? Cause i can have it on or off and not sure what od stands for.

then it doesnt shift into overdrive, which is a higher gear and you just wont get as good of gas mileage cause you'll be running a little higher rpm

Overdrive, thats what it is. I couldnt think of it so i just called it the button on the side
