Hey guys. I put a little oil in today because i was a little short. But anyway, I took it for a spin, and I forgot to put the cap back on, so yeah... i spilt oil around that area. Is this bad? I spent the last 2 hours cleaning it, and there might be a little left, but do you guys think this is bad? It got around 2 injectors, around some spark plug wires, around the intake manifold, etc. Around that area. What do you guys think? Is it safe to drive still?

Also, i pulled off my spark plug wires and and the "metal piece" came off and stayed connected to the spark plug. But I just took the spark plug wire and connected right back. Is this bad? I cranked it up and it seemed fine and turned on fine. So what do you think about this?

nothings going to blow up if you got alittle oil on it. probably the worst thing thats going to happen is you're going to smell burnt oil for alittle while. drive it easy for a bit, and if it sputters, misses, get some new plug wires.

If you're really paranoid spray a little cleaner in there something citrus or whatnot (NOT carb cleaner it WILL eat rubber seals like it was a starvin etheopian). Then rinse with a little water and allow to dry a bit before driving again (Or cover the alt and you'll be fine after that anyways lol).
