Evidently due to the size, 3 is all that will take. The connection type makes it real easy to hook up the amps and other stuff straight off the battery. The connection block in the front makes extra connections easy also.

Too large again.

wow !!!
i used to work at a car audio shop back in HS, but all that wiring is more and more looking like a can of worms :s

next week im gonna attempt it as well due to the engine bay being crowded and have to make some room for the CDI box and some other goodies.
i personaly think 4 Ga. is plenty and thats what i will use.
also a 1 Farad stiffening cap can and will improve starting, voltage transitions and even reduce surges from high amperage drawing devices. also think that a more appropriate spot for it is on the passagers side of the trunk since there seems to be a nice spot where the battery box can tuck away.

as far as stereo equipment...
imout of that phase and to me is extra weight that is not needed, instead i have 2 10Lbs NX bottles awaiting to make their way into the trunk (1 for N2O& 1 for CO2)

A capacitor. It (in less words) is a power reserve... If something in your electrical system is drawing a lot of power it can draw from that rather than strait from the battery... thusly giving the battery a bit of a brake and letting it provide power to other things... Any decent car audio places would have one. Even walmart carries em now... but Im sure theyre of low quality.
