I own a 2g and love the bodystyle... but the GSX1g are badass.. its like your in a freakin cockpit

2g 97-99 should be a separate choice because they look MUCH better than the 95-96 2g's.

Im down with the 3G myself. So much potential for improvement. Dont get me wrong 1,2G's are fun too but there just isnt any way to be creative w/ em nemore. ah well 2cents w/e. GRR 93GSX call me bro im bored. also im doing finishing on some fiberglass tommorow if you wanna stop by and check it out.

Definitly the 2g because of the look. The 3gs just look a little bit girly. The new 4gs are very nice looking as well, but I think mitsubishi abandoned its loyal followers with such a drastic change. Overall I just think the whole line of eclipses were a success in comparison to some of the other brands of cars that have been around that long. I just hope it doesent turn into the mustang line where from 1970-2004 they look like ****.

 

so far its headed that way. 1G IMO was the best and they went Down hill from there

 

I think the 1g's look good, but the 2g's just have that timeless design to them. If you didn't know any better you would NEVER guess that a 2g (97-99) Eclipse was a 9 year old car. If a 2g (97-99) is well taken care of, you would never think they are as old as they actually are. Same thing would go for a good condition Nissan 300ZX, they just have a timeless design to them, and I love it. I think the 1g's look good, but you can definately tell that they are older cars, unlike the 2g. PERSONALLY, I think they went downhill once the 3g came out... I would like to see a 3g without the rippled doors or front bumper cover and see what they look like without those hideous things, I'm willing to bet if they had smooth doors and front bumpers they would look MUCH better.
