If you are talking about the letters that bubble out on the rear bumper, those i believe just get peeled off like any other lettering on a car, But you'll end up with marks left over on your bumper. Not sure if these are the ones your talking about

 

If those ARE what he's talking about then yeah with that age it'll leave the shadows of the letters... Also I think goof off takes the residue left right off. But I'd recommend a wax job on the car. Especially if the paint is fading. Refresh the paint and the letters will dissappear (I took my Nissan ones off right away and the only hint was the wax buildup from the dealship waxing)

 

Search under Eclipse/Talon on Ebay. I got one on CD-Rom for like 15 bucks. I also got both the Haynes and Chilton books as well. That way you have lots of choices .
