So i was wondering how many of you like this rim and how many of you hate this rim. I am contimplating between this rim and your usual black rim with chrome lip. I like both but i would like to hear other opinion to help me decide.. Price is the same.

 

eh, i dont like how there's not a lip on that one at all... its just all wheel... not for me, plus i like black wheels with a chrome lip, cause it distinguishes your wheel and everyone elses wheel that they spray painted, ya know?

 

Eh, I am not a fan of black chrome. Its not as bad as plain chrome... but still not for me.

 

Chrome lip is teh ghey, IMO.

I dont really like it either. And they are really cheap replica rims that are probably bad quality.

Oh alright then. thank for the input. I spoke to a shop today and said that they ordered the BOSS brand rims before and had trouble mounting them. Also to balance them required alot of weights. Thanks for the input. One last question if you all dont mind me putting it in this thread. Beside the weight benefit of light weight rims, are they just as strong as regular rims. Dont want to hit a pothole and have them dent so easily.

 

my rims don't weigh a thing, bestwiseguys 16 inch enkie's (sp) weigh a lot more than mine. the only problem i've had is that my drivers side rim came off while i was driving lol.

 

it all depends on how much you pay for ur rims... if you find light rims for a ton of money then theres a good chance that they are made from a strong light durable material... but if you buy lightweight wheels for a small price then chances are the manufacturer just skimped on it... do some research on it and you'll appreciate it
