Default Blinking E brake light and battery

Well driving home it was raining really hard and on the way home there was a nice deep puddle.. Without my glasses i didn't see it so i went straight into it.. Right after my e brake light and battery light came on and off about 3 times before i got home which was like 30 seconds after that puddle. You guys might know what might cause that.. The water shorting something out.. Hope its not serios.

Are they still on? Do they still blink? Most likely its nothing. It would jsut be water on a sensor or something. Give it a little time to dry out and it will be fine. Now... if they stay on perminantly then you may have a problem.

yah its gone now.. my alternator is fully exposed underneath.. and from the driver side. If i look through the wheel well i can see a pully with a belt on it. Probably something important, but should it be exposed like that. Or was there a cover there and mine went missing.
