Default Blow Off Valve Accesories Question

I am going to buy a new BOV. I was thinking a either greddy type s, type rs, or DEJON Type s. I am trying to spend no more that $130.

My question is, am I going to need to replace the plastic peice that holds the stock BOV?

And am I going to need to buy a recirc kit?

If I need to replace these parts, where is the best place to get them?

I think if you buy the Greddy Type RS BOV it comes with the recirculation kit. But you can get the reciculation kit here:
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...cat=669&page=1

And you can also buy the Greddy Type RS there too: http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...cat=403&page=1

But its more than $130.

About the plastic piece that connects to the BOV, you dont have to replace it. You can buy a BOV with a flange/ fitting that will fit on that plastic piece.

Hope this helps.

yes it helps alot, thank you. Im thinking the type rs it alittle to expensive though. I guess I will buy the DEJON bov, due to being short on cash this week.

Does anyone know if this a decent BOV?

It doesnt really say on the website, does anyone know if this comes with the flange/fitting?

that one basically is the greddy type s. which wasnt a bad bov. and from what it seems, you dont even need anything extra to recirc. But before you buy it from there, go to ebay and search "greddy type s" because i know you can get it much cheaper than that.

i dont think they make the type s anymore, and for 30 bucks new, its gotta be a knockoff.

I checked ebay.. pretty much all they have are cheap knock off's or used bov's for alitte over $100..

what would be a better choice...buy a new cheap knockoff or buy a more expensive used type s?

are the knockoffs prone to failure or breaking, or not working correctly?

thanks guys
