Default Body Kits

Has anybody ever put on a body kit or know someone who has put one on? How much did it cost to mount it and how much to repaint the whole car! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx

If you have a good mechanic talk to them and see if they know anybody good who can do it. If not call some places and get some quotes. With things like that you're probably best off going with someone in the middle quote range if you've got nothing else to go on than price, not something to cheap out on.

There is alot of variants that can make the price of the car to be worked on. From type of paint and the skill level that is needed to put the kit on. Get the kit first. The shop will need that to see if any modifiying is needed. From there I would ask around your local area. Check out the cars there currently working on and ask what kind of paint they will be using. PPG is a must IMO. Don't be afraid to ask alot of questions from if they have worked on your kind of car before to what other bodykits they have installed.

Yea, good advice, around here you're not gonna find a shop that does many body kits just cause hardly any cars around here get them, but where you are you may be able to find one that does a lot of them. If you can and you've seen their results go with them.

This is your answer.

There are different types of kits that require different types of installs. The best way would be to find a shop or someone that has used a shop and see what type of work they do. ASk all those questions above and if they want your business then they will answer you.
