I'm kinda wanting to put a body kit on my 96 rs but i was wondering if the kit is designed for yrs 97-99 if i can still put it on my 96 if i get the 97-99 headlights to match?? does it matter?? and i was wondering if anyone had any kits that weren't really showy i want one thats not really crazy so i was wondering if anyone had any pics or suggestions to what might work??

yes you can put a body kit on your car if you switch out the headlights, thats what i had to do on my old rs

 

you won't find any fans of body kits on here. i had one on my old eclipse and i hated it! if you do end up getting one, get a urethane one or else about a month or 2 down the road you will regret it.

 

Yup that will work, the kit on my RS said it was from and 2nd generation eclipse and it fits ok.

 

Dun there are 2 body styles within the 2nd generation eclipse. 95-96 and 97-99 known as 2gA and 2gB. so if he had 95 and ordered a kit for 97-99 than he would have to get the head lights from a 97-99 also to make it fit.
