Default Boost

Hey guys. As most of you know, I will be purchasing a EvoIII 16G turbo soon. I have one stupid little question. Along with the turbo I will purchase a manual boost controller. Well first of all, my car is a daily driver. I was wandering if it was bad to drive my car around at a high boost (as in like 22psi)? Does this kill your gas mileage at all?

not really, unless you drive to work really really fast, your turbo wont spool up a lot, and it wont really make a difference.

it will effect it a little but it wont kill it.
