RE: Boost controlers?
I hear the profect B is a good one, at least the 1st one is.
I use a MBC if you live where weather Temps vary alot then you dont want an MBC. when I was up in MA id have to adjust from day time when it was 80 out and night time when it was in the 50s. if I ran 19 during the day at night I was at 22ish.

sorry bout this im a little new to the 4g63 and the turbo thing i got a basic concept of how it all works. Had a 420a wrecked the car only 1000 miles on new motor and by sheer luck stumbled upon a gst. how simple in the install of a boost controller and how long dose it take in genral.

RE: Boost controlers?
Easy as ****... lol their is a hose the goes from the compressor housing on the turbo to the waste gate acuator. That hose sends the boost pressure from the compressor housing to the WGA to tell it when it reaches a certian psi to open up the WG to keep the boost at that level. What the boost controler does it uts a adjustable valve in that rubber hose. This valve is adjustable. So you can set that valve at 15 psi, and once the compressor housing sees 15 psi it opens up the valve in the line and then that inturn opens up the WGA. So all you need to do is cut that hose and drop that in line. In the pic its the red hose that needs to be cut.

I finally got a MBC. I just don't know how to hook it up. I have a 16g turbo. Do I run it between the wastegate and the BSC? if anyone has a picture of their set up that would help. Also how do I set the psi. like do i put it on then run it down the road.
